Facing a Psychological Crisis – Assessment and Treatment 1 Day Course
Objectives for Facing a Psychological Crisis:
During the training, participants are instructed in the interaction skills of encountering a person in crisis and using structured assessment methods and forms. The participant will have access to tools for assessing the risk of acute suicide, and violence, among other things. In addition, participants are introduced to interventions that help a person in a crisis situation. The participant in the training learns to understand the traumatic crisis and receives ways to prevent PTSD.
The training will commence on 2nd of February 2023.
Professionals from different fields have to face people in crises at various stages of life: e.g. employees in the social and healthcare sector, education, youth services, parishes, the labour administration and the third sector.
